Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in a large saucepan

Blend sugar, vanilla, egg, graham cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts into the chocolate/butter mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Press mixture into a 9x9 pan; then refrigerate
Creamy Layer
-
Cream butter, milk, confection sugar and the other teaspoon of vanilla.

Spread over the crumb mixture, then refrigerate.
Chocolate Topping

Melt German chocolate and butter
-
Spread evenly over mixture in 9x9 pan, then refrigerate

Cut into squares before completely firm.
