For the French toast, add eggs, milk, heavy whipping cream, sugar, cup brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a large bowl.
3 Chop the bread into 1-inch cubes and put in the egg mixture. Toss well until all liquid is absorbed.
4 For the crumble topping, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt into a small bowl or food processor. Mix.
5 Cut in the butter with a fork or pulse in the food processor for 5-10 seconds, or until the mixture is crumbly.
6 Pour the bread and egg mixture into the pan. Cover evenly with brown sugar/butter topping. Cook until the top is crispy, and the center is no longer wet.
7 Serve warm with syrup, powdered sugar, or your other favorite toppings.
