
Tacos Ground Beef Chicken or Turkey
Description
Wonderful tacos from scratch. Super easy and delicious. Never buy packages again.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.

Add 1/2 medium red onion, and cook, stirring often, about 4-5 minutes.

Increase heat to medium-high and add the 1 pound ground turkey. Cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 3 minutes.

Stir in the 2 cloves garlic, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 2 teaspoons cumin, 2 teaspoons coriander and salt. Cook, stirring, for about 30 seconds, until fully incorporated and fragrant.

Add 1 cup tomato sauce and 1/4 cup jalapeños. Cook, stirring occasionally, over low heat for 10 minutes.

Note
If serving in crispy corn taco shells, be sure to warm the shells in the oven for a few minutes first. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 until they start to sweat (2-4 minutes).
