Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 cups powdered sugar

Cream Cheese Frosting Directions

  1. Combine butter and cream cheese in mixer and beat until creamy.
  2. Add vanilla extract and salt and mix well.
  3. With mixer on low, slowly add powdered sugar until all mixed in. 
  4. Frost cool stuff. 

Recipe notes

Makes frosting for 24 cupcakes or one 8 inch 2 layer cake.
