Slow cooker french dip from rump roast. Outstanding!

Ingredients

For 6 Serving(s)

Main-Ingredients

4 1/2 pound rump roast
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon oregano leaves
2 cans condensed beef broth
1 bottle beer (12 ounce)
2 cloves garlic

Other-Ingredients

1 tablespoon McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
1/2 dozen bolillo rolls
6 slices provolone cheese (cut in half)

French Dip Directions

  1. In a slow cooker add all main-ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours.
  2. Remove roast, cut into 1/2" thick slices then return to cooker for 1-2 more hours.
  3. Add steak-seasoning and cook for 10 more minutes.
  4. Turn off heat. Build sandwiches with meat slices and top with provolone cheese.
  5. Place sandwiches open-face on a cookie sheet and place under broiler in oven until toasted.
  6. Serve with side of juice from slow-cooker for dipping.
