1 pound ground beef, turkey or chicken |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
2 teaspoons ground cumin |

1 salt to taste |
1 cup tomato sauce |
1/4 cup minced fresh jalapeños, other fresh chili peppers, or chipotle peppers (Optional) |
If serving in crispy corn taco shells, be sure to warm the shells in the oven for a few minutes first. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 until they start to sweat (2-4 minutes).
